I was recently browsing the web and came across LINK SNIPPED, it's a online wow store for buying gold and power leveling.
Has anyone ever bought wow gold before?
Is it a scam? Is it legal?
Do people get banned for buy gold?

nice try...at covering an obvious advert,
no...it's pointless,
most likely...will get keylogged and account hacked,
no...not in Blizzard's eyes,
yes....banned from WoW and banned from here for trying to advertise it.

If you provide a direct link to the place where gold is sold, it can be seen as advertising said site. Bad idea.

As for genuinely asking for opinions? I'd never buy gold. It'd take away the feeling of having earned everything that I own and wear. If I get a boost through DM or Stock at low level, sure, but for the rest I very much prefer to work for my stuff.

Part of the enjoyment of reaching a destination is travelling to it.

Some sites may well be running some sort of scam. Buying gold is against the ToS, so no, it is not legal.
